Marsha Brown Restaurant, New HopeFrom the outside, Marsha Brown Creole Kitchen and Lounge looks anything but ordinary. Regal and striking, the restaurant is inside of a beautiful, historic stone church, with gorgeous stained glass and complete with two sculptures affixed to the building's entrance: an oversized fork and spoon.

I was immediately greeted with the southern hospitality that is so famous below the Dixon-Mason line. Diners are offered both valet and coat check services. Once seated, I noticed that the restaurant was surprisingly quiet, despite the fact that the dining area was quite full of people enjoying their food and drinks.
